AusIS is a secular English medium school which caters for children aged 2 (Early Childhood) to Grade-9 (14 years). The school is growing every year as the student population moves up the grades, and will progress to Year-12 level .Graduates of Western Australian schools are accepted into universities all over the world. The academic year runs from August - June, with admission open throughout the academic year.

The school operates in two modern sites within the pretty Gulshan model city section of Dhaka. Each classroom is air-conditioned and has a maximum enrolment of 20 children per class. Each teacher also has a full time assistant to ensure students receive close attention and support.

Students of AusIS participate in Music, Swimming, Physical Education, Computer and Bangla language classes as part of their normal curriculum.
